Why I Created InvestorsHELP.net

Do you feel lost, not knowing where to begin when it comes to making money in the markets?  Don't feel bad; all of us feel this way when we must learn something new.  Remember the first time you drove a car?  Pretty scary! Remember the first time you had to give a speech? Very frightening!  And yet most of us experience the same when we make our first trade or investment.

Thirty years ago when I began my study of "Technical Analysis" I believed that an exciting new world had opened up to me. However, I had no idea how to use all of these new technical indicators to generate trading and investing profits.  I soon realized that there is far more to trading and investing.  Charts with fancy chart patterns full of technical indicators are not the answer to riches.

Unfortunately, years ago when I began there was no instant communications, no mountains of research and education freely available by computer, and no YouTube.com with unlimited and free education 24 hours per day.  I was self-taught. I bought books, went to the library (what's that?), and even received help from many friends and mentors who shared their knowledge and experiences with me. 


We must harness all tools of modern technology in order to get “up to speed” quickly for our chosen career or profession.  With the availability of the Internet and the power of online videos, anyone can quickly become informed and hopefully "educated" if they are willing to take the time to correctly use these powerful resources.



 

With this in mind, in March and April of 2013 I created and uploaded some free videos to YouTube.com that I believe will be helpful especially to new investors.  I did this as a way to give back to my community for all who had helped me on my journey in the markets.  Apparently, many viewers and subscribers were hungry for this type of information.  So, during the spring and summer of 2013 I began recording videos of investing subjects that I found helpful and useful to others.  Even friends who are very experienced investors agreed to allow me to record their presentations and post them on YouTube.com at Investors Help.

As of February 2014, more than 130 videos have been uploaded for viewers and subscribers on my YouTube.com channel.  We have grown to more than 24,800 views in 40 countries.  However, even as our large library of videos continues to grow some of our viewers are having difficulty finding all of the videos and understanding how channels and playlists are organized at Investors Help.  Because more videos will be added and to better enable our viewers and subscribers to find the right videos for their use we created the www.InvestorsHELP.net website.

It is my desire and goal to do my best to deploy a variety of video subjects that will enable you to learn how to become a better investor.  However, as goes the old maxim, I can lead you to water, but I cannot force you to drink!  It is entirely up to you to find time in your busy schedules, apply yourself diligently, and treat investing as a business that requires hard work, until you achieve your financial goals.
