“Super Trader” is also an excellent book.  Written by Dr. Van Tharp, he focuses on the important subjects of psychology, risk management, position sizing, and creating a business plan.  Van Tharp does an excellent job of refining these elements into a way that is easy to read and understand.  However, this should not be confused with the idea that trading is easy. On the contrary, trading requires a LOT of work, self reflection, and discipline, more so than you probably realize.  Often it’s difficult to determine what questions to ask.  ”Super Trader” provides the answers and much much more!  It is definitely worth your time and effort.

“Super Trader” is a book not to be casually read.  It should be carefully studied as if it were a text book.  The lessons and exercises throughout this book are worth your time and effort to complete.  The concepts discussed in this book can be applied to most styles of investing.   This is the book that can reshape your thinking, your approach to risk management and position sizing, and it will help you develope a plan that fits your personal needs and goals.
